How to get skyrim workshop mods to download

Not familiar with the mod you reference. However, if its on steam - oldrim (Skyrim - NOT Special Edition) download the mod thru steam to your Oldrim game. Exit game. Then from your desktop - go into oldrim\data\yada and copy the mod to your workspace (desktop - whatever). zip it. For Skyrim SE use Nexus for Mods (for that matter use it for regular Skyrim as well). There are 3 or 4 Bethesda Mods that I like and always use and I dl them right from the SSE start up menu (Creation Club is also right there). That being said, use Nexus for the best selection of Mods, there's a ton of them there.  · If you need extra help then ask below, ask us on topfind247.co or send us a topfind247.co out our Skyrim Mod spotlights here - topfind247.co

Steam Workshop only supports Skyrim LE. Mods that were developed in LE will need to be ported to SE to work properly. This isn't up for debate. Since you're wanting a mod from the workshop, in addition to needing to port the mod yourself to SE, you also need to own the LE edition of the game. Also, SE mods are not backwards compatible with LE. Skyrim is one of the easiest games on PC to mod thanks to its integration with the Steam Workshop. You'll need to move your Steam directory out of Program Files to get your manually added mods working - sounds scary, but the instructions are pretty simple.
